Who Should Choose Which?
Choose Instinct if…
- ✓You want a general assistant for work and personal tasks.
- ✓You want to delegate tasks across connected apps.
- ✓You are comfortable checking current access and permissions before starting.
Choose Beacon if…
- ✓You want food, workout, and recovery records in one health app.
- ✓You use supported wearables, such as Oura and Garmin, and want coaching built around that context.
- ✓You want proactive AI focused on health and fitness, and you are on an iPhone.
The Bottom Line
Pick the workflow you will use every week. A capable general assistant can help with health questions, but that alone does not show how it imports, stores, or uses your wearable records.
For Beacon, start with the compatibility guide, connect your supported data, and check the records that arrive. Then decide whether its health-focused AI is useful enough for a Pro plan.
Is Instinct still invite-only?
Why is Instinct free? What is the catch?
Proactive AI health coaching in Beacon
What is Beacon?
Beacon brings supported wearable data together with workouts, nutrition, and recovery, and its proactive coaching uses that context. It runs on iPhone and Apple Watch only - there is no Android app and no Health Connect route, so on an Android phone Beacon is not an option at all. Available records depend on your device, permissions, and connection.
